Neither of our littles had experienced it either, until last week anyway. The wee lass just got really gunky eyes but m'laddo has had it and had it in an epic fashion. We've been aware when he's woken up the last two mornings by the blood curdling shriek of "Arrrgh! Me eyes! Dadda, me no see! Daaaaaaaaaadddddddddddaaaaaaaaaa!!!".
So both the last two mornings have been quite exciting, with a blind two and a half year old balanced on my knee whilst I gentle dab his eyes with a wet flannel. Better/more exciting than an alarm clock!
exciting???
ReplyDeleteOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK... :)
Poor thing. Perhaps you could use it as an excuse to convince him it's still nighttime and grabbing you another few minutes sleep?
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that you found the silver lining of conjunctivitus! Hope everyone is better soon.
ReplyDeleteoops. I planned a visit to St A with pizza and all. Let's postpone that!
ReplyDeleteHope you are all better soon and that it doesn't hit the parents, too!
Its odd really, he's fine by day, its just at night they get a bit gummy. I think the weather might thwart your visiting efforts anyway- there is snow falling right this minute! Neither of us have it, so it can't be a potent strain :)
