Last chance to vote in the VM Shorts competition with @vmloves

Earlier on in the late summer (not sure that works grammatically but roll with me) I was lucky enough to go to a Virgin Shorts session by on the technology behind what’s commonly known as bullet time. It was fascinating stuff but tied into the whole thing was actually a short film competition and now the peoples choice award is almost over, you only have until the close of play on 21st to vote here. The grand prize might be chosen by likes of Shane Meadows, Mat Whitecross and Jason Wingard but I reckon you lot know as much about what makes a good film. Mind you the prize for this one is also pretty epic: The People’s Choice Winner, who’ll be crowned at the always glitzy, always glamorous, usually champagne-soaked awards show in November will receive £5,000 of funding, mentoring from the BFI and Nikon digital camera equipment worth up to £5,000!

You can also vote via Twitter, by stating the name of the film followed by #VMShortsVote.

There’s some dead good shorts there. It’s worth a look just to see if you think you could do better yourself next year!
