Ten years ago today I married the most wonderful person in the world. The last ten years have passed so unbelievably quickly and so much has happened- we’ve moved house, had three children, face challenges and had our ups and downs but one thing has never changed and that is our devotion to each other.
A long term relationship based on mutual respect and love has seen us through the last 15 years as a couple, ten of which we’ve been married. We are a team, working together for each other, neither of us putting ourself first.
I can’t believe that we’ve been together this long, I can remember vividly the organist bursting into bridal music as wifey (to be) arrived at the church for our wedding. She was a picture of beauty as you can see, and she remains so to this day. Beguiling, kind, wonderful and utterly beautiful. I feel utterly honoured to have such a wonderful wife. I have even, over time, forgiven you for forbidding the organist from playing the Imperial March from Star Wars as you walked down the aisle. That’s how much I love you!
