I’ll readily admit that wifey is the one with real green fingers but I’m in charge of our raspberry bushes.
This year we’ve had a little more time to grow a few more fruit and veg. We’ve already had peas and raspberries, our rhubarb is always verdant but we’re still waiting on our beetroot, strawberries, courgettes, red currants, runner beans and tomatoes.
There is something great about letting kids shell their own peas that have just been plucked off the plant. That’s proper fast food in my book!
