… was ruined on Wednesday night by the most insipid performance in recent memory from Roy’s Boys. Our own boy, no relation to any of those inept footballers, was genuinely inspired by the World Cup. He’s only seven and has had a passing relationship with football until Brazil kicked off but came out of the tournament really enthused. Wednesday night went a long way to ending that, which is a shame.
Still, every cloud has a silver lining, our new boy Welbeck had a good cameo and someone on Vine has produced this awesome video:
So it’s not all bad. Roll on the return of the PL a week tomorrow!
