Everyone from the cat upwards likes a cardboard box in our house. It’s just as well even a USB stick seems to be sent in something the size of a small country because it lets the kids enjoy their box obsession. Mostly it’s space ships or den building but ever since we acquired a cat, for Ned it increasingly means trying to put the cat in a box. Our cat will probably be beatified after it’s died, for services to cats. It already has the patience of a saint.
