I'm currently involved in several entertaining blogging initiatives, including The Shell V-Power Network of Champions, The Playmobil Playologist scheme, LEGO Ambassadors scheme and Virgin Medias Redset. I'm the only parent blogger involved involved in the Shell Network of Champions- we even have our own hashtag. TV and Radio presenter James Allen once said I should do my own podcast, when he realised he couldn't get a word in edgeways talking to me.
I've just finished my stint as the lone Dad in the Butlins Ambassador scheme.
A while back I was asked to write a piece for the Guardians Comment is Free (CiF) section on going back to work after paternity leave. It provoked some strong responses.

In 2012 my innovative use of social media helped me to win a Nissan LEAF electric car in Nissans Big Turn On competition. You can read about it here. I bought the LEAF to a very wide audience, both in print and social media, and actually managed to organically translate interest in the vehicle into votes. I'm clever like that.

Until Cision cocked up their metric* I was a top ten Cision Dad blogger since they started the list, and if that's good enough for LEGO, Playmobil, Panasonic, Shell, Nissan and more recently Volvo...
*number of comments on the last 4 posts is now one of the two metrics they use, along with backlinks. This means the number 1 chap is number 1, despite only posting twice in 2012. Ho-hum.
