Woodland Trust Family Membership- just in time for Christmas

sdr

We love going down to the woods for a walk, explore or a play. We’re lucky to live close to The Woodland Trusts Heartwood Forest, so we get to see a new forest grow from literally nothing, but we’re also close to some great woods at Cuffley and the Ashridge Estate just outside of Hemel. There is something great about being in a wood. We like collecting conkers (even if they don’t really scare off the spiders) and sweet chestnuts, which are in season now and taste wonderful if you roast them on the BBQ.

The Woodland Trust is Britain’s largest charity protecting our woodland and the wildlife that lives there.

In their words,  “We’re here to stand up for trees. We want to see a UK rich in native woods and trees, for people and wildlife. But we can’t achieve our vision without you.”

If you love the outdoors, you can’t help but love the Woodland Trust. If you take out membership, it’s a bit like a family friendly useful version of Monty Python’s How to Recognise Different Types of Trees from Quite a Long Way Away. Without John Cleese as an added bonus.

A Family Membership from £5 a month provides:
